Dear fellow Dowite:
Keeping up with the time, Dow Graduate Association of North America is contemplating to hold its 2011 elections using electronic ballots. Our first and foremost priority is to uphold and preserve the sanctity of the ballot and integrity of the elections. We are assessing the capability of a number of professional organizations who conduct electronic elections on a regular basis. Advantages include saving the time, money and effort. However, our main concern is that not every DOGANA member has obtained their unique logon and password to enable them to vote in upcoming elections.
To conduct a truly representative election of DOGANA, we are urging every Dowite in North America to visit DOGANA website at: http://www.dowalumni.com/ and update/verify their information. Those of you who have not paid their current year dues can do so before October 7, 2011 to be able to vote in this year’s elections. Final decision regarding the method of balloting will be made in early October.
Please be assured that DOGANA never uses its database for commercial use.
Sincerely,
Rashid Nayyer, Chair Membership Committee.
Raheel Rasheed Khan, Chair Election and Nomination Committee.
M. Sohail Khan, President DOGANA 2011 and Central Council DOGANA 2011.
